November 5, 2020 - Elementary School #10

As of November 5, 2020, Elementary School #10 is on time and on budget with the classrooms starting to take shape. The gym box is complete and the laminated beams are in place in the multipurpose area. Area 100 roofing is complete with plumbing, mechanical and electrical being installed before moving those systems throughout the building.

October 14, 2020 - Elementary School #10

One of the major construction projects is the District's 10th elementary school, funded completely by state-match dollars. The project is currently on time and on budget, and will open in the Fall 2021 on Five Mile Prairie. The walls of the building are being erected and the gym box is nearly complete.

September 22, 2020 - Union Stadium

The beautiful new Union Stadium, located at the corner of Market Street and Farwell Road in the town of Mead, is complete and ready for events as soon as it is safe to return. Completed on time and on budget, the 4,500-seat facility will host a football game in the Mead School District for the first time since 1971 -- almost 50 years.

September 21, 2020 - Creekside Elementary Opens

Creekside Elementary, located at 3525 E Hastings in the town of Mead, welcomed students for its inaugural academic year on Sept. 21, 2020. Creekside houses grades K-5 and the District's Special Education Preschool program.

August 27 - Shiloh Hills Dedication Ceremony

The new multi-purpose room was filled to capacity for the August 27, 2019, Shiloh Hills Dedication Ceremony. Co-Principals Nick Edwards & Laura Duchow welcomed students, staff and community members to the event and School Board Director Bob Olson expressed his appreciation to the community for financially supporting the renovation. Ari Nash, a 6th grader at Shiloh Hills, helped Board President Carmen Green with the official Ribbon Cutting portion of the ceremony.
