2020 Spokane Scholar Nominees

Congratulations to the seniors from Mt. Spokane and Mead High who will represent the Mead School District at the 28th Annual Spokane Scholars Awards Banquet taking place at the Spokane Convention Center on April 20, 2020, where cash scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $4,000 will be presented in each of the six award categories. Fall 2020 Boundary Change Approved

On January 13, 2020, the Mead School District Board of Directors unanimously approved revisions to Mead School District elementary and middle school boundaries. This boundary change coincides with the opening of Creekside Elementary and Highland Middle School in the Fall of 2020, and the opening of a 10th elementary school located on Five Mile Prairie in the Fall of 2021. Back-to-Back State Champions

Congratulations to the Mt. Spokane High School Volleyball Team. They are, once again this year, the 3A State Volleyball Champion.

STATE CHAMPIONS!!

Congratulations to the Mt. Spokane Slowpitch Softball Team on their 3A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP victory November 2nd in Yakima. A very impressive win for a team that is also this year's 3A Academic State Slowpitch Champion.

2019 Fall Academic State Champions

Congratulations to the Mead High (4A) and Mt. Spokane (3A) Slowpitch Softball Teams . . . both are Academic State Champions for their respective WIAA classification. The Mead High team GPA is 3.641 and the Mt. Spokane team GPA is 3.719. Read more . . .

Cat Scramble 2019

Thanks to all who participated in this year's Cat Scramble Golf Tournament & Silent Auction. This community fundraiser raised an impressive $70,000 that will be divided equally between the Mt. Spokane and Mead High Athletic Booster Clubs to help support athletic programs. Read more . . .

Spring 2019 State Test Results

Results from last spring are in and Mead School District students scored very well on state tests. The district's composite score was well above the state average in all tested areas. Read more . . .

2019 AP Scholars

Congratulations to the 130 Mt. Spokane and Mead High students who scored so well on last spring's Advanced Placement exams that they earned special designations from The College Board. We also congratulate and thank our AP teachers who helped prepare students for these exams. Read more . . .
